Granite is an igneous rock containing mostly quartz, feldspar and mica.

The colour is generally white or grey, dotted with black and with distinctive speckles of sparkling silver mica. The colour of the stone can be influenced by the presence of different minerals.

The pinkish-copper coloured tone of Copper Granite derives from the presence of potassium feldspar when the rock was in its molten state.

Copper Granite gravel, sourced from Irish quarries is hard wearing and It can be used to give a warm and distinctive look to a path, driveway or garden feature, the chip sizes available are 10mm, 14mm and 20mm.

We recommend the 10mm or 14mm chip size for driveway use.
