ECCOfence Gabion KIT is a unique product that combines the aesthetic of a gabion in a slim 20cm, space-saving profile. This convenient and professional construction kit is made from durable materials for longevity. Because the gabions are produced in standard sizes, you can easily determine how many are needed for your application. The package includes everything you need to assemble the gabions, all accessories are included. The ECCOfence kit must be placed on concrete so that it is firmly anchored. ECCOfence KIT gabions are quick and easy to install thanks to the useful installation instructions included, which explain everything step by step. Once assembled, you can easily fill the ECCOfence gabion with the decorative stone of your choice, (provided that the stones are larger than 50mm diameter ) creating a distinctive fence or feature for your garden that will really stand out.

ECCOfence is a high quality product that requires virtually no maintenance and has a very long lifespan (unlike e.g., wood that can eventually discolour or even rot). ECCOfence involves little loss of space without sacrificing safety. ECCOfence consists of full wire mesh panels,with height options up to 200 cm.

Privacy

Do you wish to close off your terrace? Then you can definitely choose ECCOfence. ECCOfence gabions have a natural look and fit both modern and rural surroundings while providing privacy screening for your patio, terrace or garden.

Protection of buildings

ECCOfence gabions can be utilised to protect buildings or commercial premises, as they are solidly anchored in concrete.

Parking place marker

ECCOfence gabion can also be used to mark parking spaces or to form bicycle parking areas.

Retaining wall

ECCOfence can also be used as retaining walls, thanks to their anchoring in concrete they have a very high load-bearing capacity. You just need to apply a protective membrane where the soil presses against the back of the gabion to avoid erosion.

The following items are included in the ECCOfence KIT package:

1.  2 feet: these are hot-dipped galvanized. Width of foot is 34 cm, distance from center of anchor bolt to center of anchor bolt is 29 cm. The total height of the
   foot is 9.4 cm. The foot is also contains with 2 fitting points for calibrating the base plate.
2.  1 base plate of 201 cm long and 20 cm wide: V-profile in sendzimir of 215 g/m², the length of the base plate is made so that it automatically calibrates the distance between 2 feet in order to perfectly fit the nets. The base plate is reinforced, which makes it possible for the gabion to be placed on feet. The advantage of raised gabions is that the bottom layer of stones of the gabion will not get dirty by splashing water.
3. 2 panels: they are treated with a 340 g/m² zinc and aluminium alloy as standard. The wire meshes are 4 mm wide and 50 x 50 mm.
4.  2 sides with reinforcing plates : these are grooved plates in sendzimir 215 g/m². Thanks to the reinforced sides, the risk of bending in the gabion is differences. From a height of 1 meter, an additional reinforcement angle is provided. Holes are also already provided in the side plates for attaching several ECCOfence KIT gabions to each other (so that they stand in a nice,
   straight line). If desired, you can optionally order a wire mesh side panel so that the stones are also visible from the side.
5.  1 upper panel of 201 cm long. These also have a 340 g/m² zinc-aluminium alloy. The wire meshes are 4 mm wide and  50 x 50 mm. The top panel is bent at the side, making it very easy to install the gabion. The top panel is then secured with 6 plastic strips (also included in the package).
6.  Connecting hooks or ties (6 for KIT 50, 24 for KIT 100, 36 for KIT 150 and 48 for KIT 200): these are specially designed to fix the panels both outward and inward. This prevents the panels from falling against each other during filling and ensures that they will not bend over time. Also included in the package are 6 wooden blocks that protect the ties during filling.
7. 4 anchor bolts M12. The anchor bolts are 12 mm in diameter and a depth of 85 mm. One anchor bolt can bear 2,150 kg, which is an enormous amount of weight. Feel free to purchase the wedge bolts from another manufacturer. Because the anchor bolt must be sufficiently anchored, it should always be set in concrete (min. 350 kg cement/m³). So this may not be anchored with stabilised sand.
8.  The package also includes all the nuts, bolts and even cover caps. All you need to provide yourself is concrete (consider the bearing capacity of the soil) and your tools (diamond drill Ø 12, ing spanner 13-19 mm, hammer and disk cutter).
